labor issues are a hot topic at local and national levels; be it in terms of the labor market or of working conditions, many questions are addressed to players in the economic, social and institutional. In this context, there is a discipline - ergonomics - and a business - that of ergonomics - with a direct interest in this issue by working to create conditions favorable to the development of health and well-being of workers while participating in business performance. Created in 1963, the Society of French Language Ergonomics brings together different communities (physiologists, psychologists, sociologists, prevention specialists, occupational physicians) about the usability with a common commitment to advancing the science of work. The association helps promote the discipline and profession associated in organizing an annual congress in scientific and professional character.
 
ERGOPACA ergonomists is a combination of the region Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. It particularly relates to the facilitation of trade between the various forms of ergonomic practices ((research, intervention training) and the representation of the discipline with regional partners (institutions, companies, etc.). The association is the support structure the organization of the congress of the SELF 2016 in Marseille.
 
In 1966, Marseille hosted the second congress of the SELF. Fifty years later, the 51th edition of this event will be held again in the city, from 21 to 23 September 2016 at the Palais du Pharo. Topics discussed during this event will focus on the evolution of the discipline and profession of ergonomics. The development of knowledge, diversity of practices and the establishment of a common disciplinary identity will thus structuring axes of the congress called for the occasion "Usability and Ergonomics (s)."
 
Given the history of Marseille and its geographic position an emphasis will be made to the actors and ergonomic practices around the Mediterranean basin. The strong involvement of the SELF in international events gives this event a vocation that indeed exceeds the limits of our borders. Thus, the conference will host the Council of the Federation of European Ergonomics Societies (FEES).
 
More than 600 people are expected for this occasion: ergonomics practitioners, actors in society, partners
related disciplines (physicians, prevention specialists, psychologists) and wider stakeholders concerned with labor issues (directors and managers of companies, institutional representatives, responsible for technical and organizational project, etc.).
 
Besides the interest of the event from the scientific point of view and practical, this conference will also be a place of conviviality favorable to the establishment where the strengthening of partnerships. A gala evening and moments of informal exchanges punctuate the three conference days.

Rates are net of tax. ERGOPACA, ensuring the organization structure of the conference, is a non-profit organization that is not subject to VAT.

The exhibition space is located in the heart of the Palais du Pharo where SELF Congress 2016 will be held.
The exhibition is organized in the Exhibition hall accessible directly from the home and offers optimal visibility to exhibitors:
  • Coffee breaks take place in the exhibition
  • Participants must pass through the exhibition to travel to the conference and to circulate conference rooms with dining areas

To increase your visibility, you can submit documentation for each participant (we expect between 500 and 600 participants for this edition Marseille) by inserting a document (provided by you) in the bag that they will receive. A presentation of two minutes maximum (projection of 1-2 slides) per stand will take place during the opening session, Wednesday, September 21, 2016.
